Katarraktis is a picturesque fishing village 13 km south of Chios town and 8 km from the airport.

You will find 6 restaurants and 2 cafés open from morning till late in the evening, all along the village’s seafront with a view of the Aegean Sea and Asia Minor in the distance. Katarraktis is a popular destination for ouzo and sea food frequented by both locals and tourists throughout the whole year. It is full of life in the summer and its picturesque harbour hosts fishing boats as well as visitor yachts.
